Manual & installation
Request the D180 manual from LNDU Support. Include your order number and a photo of the model label so we can match the instructions to your version.
The D180 version covered here uses passcodes and a physical key. These instructions do not require an app or Bluetooth pairing.
Check the installation diagram before fitting: the documented door-thickness range is 35–55 mm, with a 60 mm or 70 mm backset. Also check the door holes, direction and mounting clearance in your supplied manual.
Test the lock with the door open before closing it. Keep the mechanical key somewhere accessible when you are outside.
Keypad & access settings
Follow the D180 manual to set administrator access, add or remove user codes, and configure automatic locking. Administrator and everyday user codes serve different purposes; keep administrator credentials private.
Do not use another model's button sequence. For a reset or programming issue, contact support with the exact step and the lock's sound or light response. Finish administrator setup and test access before leaving the lock in service.
Battery & backup access
- Use 4 AA alkaline batteries, following the polarity markings.
- Use a matching set and replace depleted batteries promptly. Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Keep the physical key available as a backup, and check that it operates correctly before relying on the lock.
Common checks
The lock works with the door open but not closed
Review the latch and strike alignment against the installation instructions. Do not force the mechanism; ask for help if the fit is unclear.
The keypad is not responding
Check battery orientation and power first. Tell support whether the lock makes a sound or shows a light, and whether the issue began after installation or after a settings change.
I need help with automatic locking
Use the D180 automatic-locking section in your manual. Confirm the setting and test it with the door open before normal use.
